Tenants Hub : Project Task/Challenge
To develop a social housing platform that will register users as tenants and social landlords based on references provided by already registered members. Tenants registered with the platform can form groups for their discussions and consultations. The platform will also offer a video call and conference interface, digital meeting provision, and a community discussion platform.
Project Solution
We worked with social housing staff to design and develop a social platform for tenants. The mobile app, built with Google Flutter, uses Firebase for data storage. The web platform runs on scalable AWS servers with Ubuntu Linux. Secured with 256-bit SSL, it supports Apache and Nginx. Developed in PHP 7+ with MySQL/MariaDB, it’s scalable and modular with REST API integration.
The project involved close collaboration with social housing staff to ensure the platform meets the specific needs of tenants and staff members. This collaborative approach helped in designing a user-friendly and effective social platform.
The mobile app was developed using the Google Flutter Application Development Framework. This choice allows the app to achieve native performance on both Android and iOS devices, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
